We've been saddened by the horrifying news out of Connecticut today, and felt it prudent to postpone our usual Techlicious Moms newsletter until next week.
As we process our overwhelming grief, we've come across these two resources for advice on how to handle sharing the news with and comforting our kids. In case you're looking for advice to guide how you want to talk about the news with your kids, you may find this list of resources from the American Academy of Pediatrics or this advice from the American Psychological Association on how to help kids in the aftermath of a school shooting.
Our hearts go out to all of the children, parents and staff of Sandy Hook Elementary School and our prayers are with the entire surrounding Newtown community.
